Q. What is a Veterinary Ophthalmologist?

We are Veterinarians who have completed at least a one year internship or two plus years of general practice followed by a minimum of a 3 year residency in ophthalmology (branch of medicine concerned with study and treatment of disorder and diseases of the eye). After completing this residency there is vigorous board certification exam after successful completion infers the status of Board Certified Veterinary Ophthalmologist.
